One seller appears to be doing the damage and he's trading the stock. Assume the directors are stepping in on the close.
To suggest exploration is marginal is ridiculous AMU has a strike rate round 80% (even allowing for the step out wells). Who else is in the same boat?

Not convinced that the 1P/2P calc's are up to date enough. Think you'll find the 2P statement (whenever it arrives) will be MUCH more than the 06 fig's used above.
Issue will be how fast are they converting 2P into 1P's.

Still no real discussion on the possibility that the stock is being held down.. (yes there are plausible motives)

Raccoon bend was offloaded to achieve 2 things free cash for debt relief and to also free manpower for more prospective fields (which so far are coming in -Hermes!).
Am inclined to believe that this was only done because they got $20/bbl in ground (from memory) on a high (relatively speaking) cost play and because they had no trouble with replacement reserves so as to keep 1P/2P growing.

Test will be what happens when the 2P statement hits (or equally they hit schwing to the tune of 200BCF)will there be an attempt to hold this down or will it be run it for all its worth.

My bet is the latter in which case the pent up demand might be surprising.
