"Dear Mr Towner
I'm sure all shareholders who have a good grasp of the business are a bit perplexed about the current share price. It seems to contradict (1) the strong cash flow enjoyed from current operations, and (2) the high level of success that has been and continues to be achieved through drilling.
My thought is that a simple glance at the financials shows a small profit that does not attract attention. We know that the company's cash flow is much higher than this. As a suggestion that might bring some attention to the business (and reward shareholders) a small dividend of, say, 2 cps would not cost the company overly much, however would clearly demonstrate to the market that the company has the ability to drill wells from cash flow AND reward shareholders in a tangible way.
Around 2 or so years ago I emailed a similar suggestion and, at the time, the response was that a lot of drilling was taking place and it would depend on the success of this. I would think the success has clearly been there, and although more drilling is taking place company cash flow is robust.
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on this matter."
Will let you know if he gets back to me.
