Whether thats in the longer term best interests or not is the question.

The weeklies while still short detail clearly show the prospectivitiy of the plays. Me I'd prefer the Co. to get on and drill the h*ll out of as many of the better fields as they can, bringing on as many developmental wells to provide the incremental 1P growth (while also speeding up the Polymer treatemnts)

and hitting the wildcats for growth.

However we look at it the SP wil eventually reflect the value of the reserves and if it doesn't then someone else will value the Co for just that.
Point being as US oil/gas output declines further and its reliance on OS supply increases its sensitivity to the Oil price - even small Co's sitting on 20 or 30Mbbls (low cost) will be very attractive.

I'm sure we're not the only ones thinking along these lines.
