Mr Towner just called in reponse to my email. A good general conversation really, however he made the following comments:

* Dividend is something that the company has talked about for the past 12 months or so;
* They want to put themselves in a position where they are extremely confident any dividend can be maintained for the long term;
* He drew reference to Bridge that paid a one off divy, and the SP got hit hard when it was then cancelled;
* Continued success in line with Hoffer / Hermes type wells would go towards justifying one;
* I got the distinct impression that if Schwing #2 hits the money then, subject to production for a few months to confirm stability of flow, a dividend would definitely be considered.

In short, they are just as keen on this as me (and some others) however waiting to be confident that whatever they declare is maintainable for the longer term.
