I would also assume that occasionally bad weather (floodings???) in the operational areas might impact on the total number of production days (or transportation days?) and hence I believe that the 300 days figure is quite a realistic assumption.
Regarding your comment about VPE's drilling efforts being on the slow side. Even though I know that tui thinks highly of VPE, I am also of the opinion that VPE is certainly NOT among the best operators in Australia! Luckily for VPE shareholders, some other companies are involved in exploring VPE's CSG riches as well as some other oil opportunities.
