Are you planning on going to the Gold Coast RRS at the end of the month? I plan on just going to the first day - NST, BRB, SMD, CMM and SPI interest me the most. Here is the programme:

As for the interest in Meeka etc, it's mainly about palaeoproterozoic (P) v archaeon (A). They sort of adjoin along the Goodin Fault (simplistic) to the north and P is about 300million years younger than A. DeGrussa is P and GG is A. I would love to have a geo with me at the time so as to point relevant things out
