The Company has three years’ experience in investing in Kazakhstan and is well placed to take advantage of this experience going forward. Furthermore the Company has had positive discussions with Government officials on further options for GTE, and the Company remains committed to exploration in Kazakhstan with the following strategy:
? To work with Kazgeology to find a new project under the Agreement of Co-operation signed by both companies and announced in March last year.
? Take advantage of the upcoming proposed legislation changes in Kazakhstan where the Mining Regulations are being aligned with elements of the Western Australian,
Canadian and Chile Mining Acts making it easier for exploration areas to be applied for.
? Continue to pursue private opportunities.
