Daigou is dead, yep, but the damage from the loss of such critical channel is still unravelling, especially in the area of marketing, which is supremely important for A2M. Brand erosion tend to happen over time and would translate into dwindling sales dispersed over a relatively long period.
Unfortunately, the loss of the daigou is not the only issue that A2M is facing. A2M is also facing veritable decline in birth rate in the middle and upper class cohorts, severe domestic competition, and many others.
Eventually people will understand what is going on.
By the way, when is A2M going to reshuffle Mataura Valley Milk’s board?
