How objective do you think the opinion of someone like Professor Simmons - someone whose very academic existence and professional raison détre - would be inextricably linked to endorsing MPC technology?
I mean, you'd never find someone who is an eminent research scientist standing up and saying, "This research I'm busy with... meh, I don't think its on the right track."
Besides, the debate about whether the blood marrow trial - which received the green light to enter in Phase 3 in 2011 - is currently still "alive" today or not is rendered somewhat moot by the management's statements back in 2010, 2011 and 2012 that this was the best chance of early revenue generation and commercialisation for MSB.
The question is how a development product that offered the promise of "early revenues" more than 5 years ago, today receives no mention at all.
