totally concur skull...if labor wants to rule the communications roost make an offer for telstra and be done with it...they won't, of course
the tender for nbn has become hopelessly politicized...labor ideologues will have their way regardless of the consequences
retail investors, who took up telstra shares in howard govt. offering are going to be hosed
this is the only explanation that makes sense for why the sp is collapsing...now way below the original offer price
once labor begins dealing with the financial realities of building a fibre optic network, from the outside in, with a foreign partner things will turn around...
tacking another 10 billion dollars on to the already massive debt hole labor is creating will guarantee they lose the next election
