All very interesting...
Doesn't cable broadband supply fibre to the home rather than to the node with copper to the node. Can't see how the nbn can possibly compete.
As I recall Sol specifically set out a policy of incremental upgrade to existing services as part of their strategy after the demise of their nbn proposal - point being that however political this announcement may seem it is execution of a well telegraphed policy.
If TLS cannot find a replacement by time of Sol's departure, I hope they have option of him extending for a few months, or however long it takes.
