Although, I should not hope for something that will cause many despair..
Sadly, it's a very different story on the ground.
In fact, the economically deprived and destitute ghost town of Coolangatta's current property inventory appears to being snapped up at record high prices, despite this unfolding pandemic.. a close friend paid $920k in February of last year, and has just sold it for $1.3mil.
Not necessarily relevant, but just an example that's close to home- no pun intended.
