Slamming an economy shut is never a good thing for banks and banking stocks.
Too much slam borders shut and therefore slamming economy shut talk in Australia at this time.
So just look at Queensland, in that economy, even the bananas are not being picked. it is not a banana economy, it is a nothing economy.
ANZ lends into that place you know. How are they going to recoup anything in Queensland?
