Unfortunately for the good folk in the conservative, law abiding suburbs of Doncaster, Balwyn and Glen Waverly, it is a simple answer IMHO.
The ANZ are presumably trying to offload customers from COVID hotspots and it is a Victoria wide policy in typical bank portfolio stylr, good suburbs or bad, law abiding or lawless suburbs, conservative or LWNJ suburbs?
Until Linda Dessau does her job as State Governor by doing a Sir John or a Sir Phillip and stops the incompetence from continuing Victoria-wide, I would presume ANZ bank managers have been told to restrict contact as much as possible.
The only thing that can increase from a Victorian portfolio at this moment is sadly conduct issues, compliance issues, delinquencies and doubtful debts until this problem is overcome.
Victoria, Doncaster, Balwyn, Glen Waverly, will all come back just not now while Spring Street is in such a sorcery.
