Other reasons banks stocks are beginning to rise may also include the expectation that the Australian economy is beginning to open up with less constraints on business. The Victorian economy is now beginning to open up while other states are also gradually reducing business constraints as this virus thing gets under control.
Also the expectation of a vaccine in the next few months is another driver adding fuel to banks stocks.
With WBC NAB ad ANZ all going ex in early November shareholders might also be in for a pleasant surprise.
