Actually, one thing that I have learnt after buying in mid last week, is that its risky to ignore the effect of options expiry and end of month trading. These factors may have been my key to my recent loss, but at least I closed a few trades in the prior week for a reasonable profit, its just that today's realised loss on BHP killed my other recent trading profits. Don't tell my missus.
