The NBN was a crock from day one.
The cost, the assumptions and the coverage were never believable and as the years go by the cost keeps going up ,in 2011 it was going to cost $34.7 billion and now it looks more like $80 billion the take up of the higher speeds has missed the mark by a mile and that is what the case was based on and to borrow cheap funds with a low rate of return that will not be reached,the estimates are that the NBN will be worth about $20 Billion what a great investment a crap business case delivers a crap result.
Every one wants higher speeds but are not prepared to pay for it and believe the government should subsidize them.
If you have a look at the corrupt Australian politicians you will find an even spread apart from NSW where Labor win the corruption prize hands down.
