If you believe in charts & take the time to do them, then it is a waste of time not to follow them. Are you saying the charts say X but I will held? If you don't follow your system is it worth doing? Personally, glad my research is not based on charts but valuation of a potential resource & its resulting cashflows.Not complaining about my method, just mentioning an alternative approach that can work.
