Now available to over 440,000. This is more than than 400,000 they were had stated previously I think.
Strange as netcomm has stated the rollout was short of expectations. I guess the take up rate hasn’t been good.
“Following the launch of our innovative Fixed Wireless Internet service as part of our FCC Connect America Fund commitment. We continue to expand and plan to make access available to over 1.1 million locations by the end of 2020, many getting access to high-speed internet for the first time.”
This suggests the total will be higher than 1.1mil. Could be another 12mil (I wish). AT&T may be waiting for another round of government funding.
It’s a bit sad that they classify high-speed internet as 10mb/s. I assume the netcomm device is very capable of far higher speeds.
