Based on today's CXO announcement it is now back to Finniss lithium deposit. As stated previously, CXO did find good chunk of spodumene there but they are patchy and irregular. To be commercially viable it has to large enough to avoid large scale dilution.
It seems CXO did not find large visual findings of spodumene or lithium during Zola drilling. CXO did not provide photos of drill samples as it did in Finniss drilling.
In my view, it is still long way for CXO to find anything commercially viable lithium deposit and would be better to concentrate on base metal on its other exploration leases.
