Otherwise, welcome to the web, there are tools to minimise the reporting and intrusion that goes on, use Firefox for starters, then get the adblock, ghostery, noscript and betterprivacy add ons for starters.   Don't facebook or twitter, use Startpage instead of Google (same thing without the tracking).

I'm sure others will have more suggestions.
