They really are nailing investing!
In February I sold half my WGB shares, put the money into a challenger portfolio and will continue to compare performance.
The challenger portfolio is made up of GMA, CAA, BSL, WPL, CIA. I chose these using a simple metric price to operating cashflow, kept it concentrated, didn't talk to management, and don't have an investment team working for me.
The results after two months of performance:
WGB: -9.29% (NTA before tax)
My challenger fund: 16.42% (NTA before tax)
At the next AGM I will be asking Geoff to liquidate this LIC and return money to us shareholders.
