With the warmer waters and 2 cyclones and 1 almost at the moment (but, unlikely) in a little over a month- it makes one wonder if this is a kind of normal when the ocean surface temps are higher.
Will be interesting to see what Feb and particularly March is like
we wait.
We have flowers out where I am atm - about a month early that normally signalled the end of snow. I'm open to nature having some kind of mystical predictive power, but, I suspect it's reactionary as opposed to predictive - so, I hope the little dears have got it right - because there's plenty of time still for big snows.
Last Monday evening as the sun was going down - I sat in the open window of a hotel overlooking the English Channel drinking champers - imagine that - late January, one would have expected to have one's bollocks frozen off - but, it was pleasant, was in no hurry to close the window at all ----------- things are different now.
