Unfortunately NDAs are pretty worthless in this scenario - all DAX legal teams would require a NDA as part of any engagement process. At present I have a number of my potential suppliers in NDAs as well as being in countless of them.
It could mean anything from they are been given a supply tender and it is commercially sensitive that the requested quantities not become public. Or it could mean that they are in final deal conversations - Stefan mentioning it would seem to me to be more of a comforter for the social media market.
If they were progressing to a finalised deal, a trading halt would be in place while they prepare the final details to release to market - right now they have nothing. (Sorry - but that is a fact)
Either way, since the PFS release the Cobalt price has dropped 22% and looks set to continue dropping. If they are ready to be signed, I would suggest they do.
