Clearly shocking news for gas industry that Chevron sold out of Browse, you seem to think that its a clear sign that they reckon Gas is doomed.
Whoops pity you forgot to mention that Chevron actually "swapped" Browse gas assets for ..........WAIT FOR IT ............BLOW THE TRUMPET...................
Carnarvon Basin gas assets.
and you forgot to metion that Shell actually consolidated their holdings in the Browse Basin.
Fools all round- don't they know Gas is doomed.
(For such a poor understanding of the energy sector they seem to do alright though - Chevron made $6.5B in the first quarter of this year and Shell, well, it did even better making $8.7B for the quarter)
