    @Zenox thanks for the considered reply, I do appreciate it and will certainly look over the data you have been kind enough to point me towards.

    I must admit, I had not thought about it as a 6 month commitment, merely looked at it from the ability to flush the NSAIDs in order to begin the trial.
    This was indeed short-sighted

    That said, I still think (in my mind) it would be more like a 8 week commitment, with the 2 weeks to get on the trial then, from what I recall (and could be wrong), some people are obtaining relief from the 6 week mark.

    So, at that stage I'd know, and I'd personally stick with it if I saw a glimmer of improvement.

    On the other hand, rather selfishly of me, if I was still in that much pain after 8 weeks I'd likely withdraw from the trial within a few weeks of that ... (sorry PAR)

    Either way, I'd see this as good data, even if detrimental to the trial, becasue at least we would know!
    The flip side potential to aid those with NRS 7+ is worth the risk IMHO
