Destrier, I dont know where you have your tax done m8, but I would find another if they have you paying over 50%.
If you seel shares inside twelve months you pay your marginal tax rate up to .47 in the dollar.
If you hold longer than twelve months you only pay 20%. Unless you have some capital losses to offset agains profit.
