They've repeatedly sold their principles down the drain for no memorable gain; for example by permitting John Howard's GST, shafting Kevin Rudd's ETS by backing Tony Abbott and torpedoing the work of the Expert Panel established by Julia Gillard to devise a better system for the regional management of asylum seekers.

The Greens are in no small way jointly responsible for the dreadful government and shocking state of our politics.

This morning I heard Bill Shorten drop the line that in 2015 Labor would be pushing its new vision for our future; "Smart, Fair, Inclusive". We live in hope that they develop the policies and processes to breathe life into that apparent new vision, especially since following Abbott's treacherous assault on our way of life it desperately needs rescuing.
