thanks for the reply. I think I might have asked the wrong question, just wonder if you or anybody else here knows what the convention is when drawing trendlines - linear or log price charts. Obvously one gets completey different results depending if log or linear is used.
By way of illusstration have drawn your trendlines on a weekly linear chart and then viewed the same trendline on a log chart
