It all depends on the mud weight they are using, i would of thought that they will of weighted it up in case of a kick.
They are also drilling at lower then 10ft/hr. The faster you drill the higher the back ground gas will be.
I think that we have nothing to worry about.
Does anybody know if they are using MWD/LWD logging tools as this would tell them real time of gas/oil/water contacts.
