background info on mst, page-8

Hang on LTInvestor - I've just got to put down my jug of bathwater...... don't mind my sense of humour!

Look - I'm right with you, bigtime. Why CAN'T MST be $1 - indeed? Surely a $5billion market cap company is no great shakes at all in the global defence industry, where the likes of Raytheon has annual sales of US$25billion!! And Adder keeps dribbling out positive stuff - I love it.

Without meaning to romance, I recall about 2003-2004 calculating that the (simplistic) average of all US Defence stocks on the NASDAQ back then was US$7 a share! I reasoned a MST next generation military technology has got to be worth significantly more than 'the average'? I recall discussing my maths with TOD at a MST AGM at that time, and he cautiously said (quote) he would like to think MST share price would reach US$5 'in my lifetime'. I clearly remember kindly thinking sheesh - is this bloke a pessimist - it should sail past that! Hmmmm.

Of course neither of us could have envisioned the massive share dilution since then. But in those days (pre Lee F as well) we were still talking about O'Dwyer police handguns and a host of stuff. Despite the years, we are now worlds away down the track toward the brink of commercialisation with focussed product. It has been a wonderful (if frustrating) ride - and I too took up my Rights and then some. I so hope we can collectively do what is necessary to bring on that $1+ shareprice you spoke of. At the moment given the dilution, I suspect that might prove to be a bridge too far, but let's see what happens. Good luck to all.
