here they are, grown men mostly, fighting what they believe is the good fight against the world’s entire corrupt, venal, compromised, poorly informed medical, pharmaceutical and scientific establishment.
the good fight of course is to raise doubts anyway they can about the known safety and efficacy of the 6.6 billion doses of vaccines for covid-19 already administered worldwide.
why they do this isn’t clear but it certainly isn’t out of any love for humanity. If that was the case, there would be no evidence of the lies, fantasies, distortions and lack of critical thinking that peppers there every post.
for instance, antivaxxers dishonest use of raw data in VAERS, or the Vaccines Adverse Events Reporting System. Any halfwit can see the adverse events must be analysed for cause before blaming everything on vaccines. If raw data continues to be dishonestly used what does that tell you about the people doing so. No one could be that stupid so ulterior motive comes into question.
or take poster Stevenjd’s obsession with ADE, which hasn’t arisen yet from the use of vaccines against covid-19. Make no mistake were ADE to emerge it would pose serious problems and experts are keeping an eagle eye out for any emergence. But it hasn’t yet except possibly in the poster’s fevered imagination.
so here we are trying to mute the cacophony from the antiscience antivaxx cult.
where would we be without them? Almost certainly having higher rates of vaccinations, almost certainly having fewer covid deaths and hospitalizations and more economic activity.
conclusion: antivaxxers are their own worst enemy.
