it's like architects and builders have absolutely no idea of sanitary procedures - yet, they are charged with building dunnies and wash basins.
But it's worse - there are processes to building approvals - not only council but enormous amounts of 'standards' publications - where are all those experts who actually know about those 'standards' re hygiene processes during approvals and building stages? Then the designers - are they more interested in form, looks and money, foregoing practicality, resource savings and hygiene issues?
The pandemic (so called), was rife with all manner of governmental interventions - mask wearing - many not even surgical - some even patriotic, yet hygienically ok ? Many worn time and time again after being put in and retrieved from pockets - perhaps the pockets were sanitized each time the mask was taken out? And what of the re-used mask itself - money saving but as for hygienic?
The laughable 1.5m social distancing - guess authorities never heard of dust storms or a bbq, where pleasant cooking smells were in the air traveling 100 or more metres in various directions as per wind movements.
The Romans and Greeks had open air venues for concerts/shows - they followed it up by open air public facilities undoubtedly a few friendly discussions in situ - more communal, no windows required - not sure whether there were hand basins or soap to clean hands after drops.
There was a time when human waste was used to fertilize gardens - most would frown on such usage today - perhaps due to health issues or perhaps to ensure healthy profit levels for other products sold in lieu.
In my local travels, did find a few public facilities where a sink is provided outside of the toilet hence allowing for no more door openings after washing - though still regularly void of either soap, paper towels or both.
There are many who are educated at various levels and in various disciplines and yet despite such education even in the medical field, so many seem to know or care so little about good hygiene practices. Maybe it's not so bad, maybe the body's immune system compensates by building immunity - or maybe it's part of nature's way to avoid imposing mandatory hygiene practices - plus it gives doctor's another revenue option in selling treatments.
