Any formula will probably be a custom indictaor and affect the entire chart over all the years that the stock has been around. I dont think a formula is what you need.
Id attack it by editing the quote file.
eg- if cba has announced a div of 41 per share on 27/2, due to be paid on 27/3,
then I'd manually deduct $1 from the open hi lo close for each of the 30 days.
further;
you should backup the quote file first, then save as cba2, before editing. Its a job to do it all manually, so I would export to excel and do it with a macro, then export back to t/a software.
Thats how Id do it. There are also ways of adjusting quote files for splits, etc, and you may be able to reverse engineer this somehow.
