My software is written in a version of "Basic" to run on SCO-Unix. The same language is also available on Linux but I havnt gone into it.
What you say (about personal feeling) is correct. I'm trying to keep the whole thing as simple as possible but soemtimes one has to look at the complexities (and their relevance/irrelevance) to establish how simple you can make it. I just feel that a 2-3% movement directly attributable to ex-div is going to pervert the trend. If you don't take it into account then you could throw yourself out of the trade for no valid reason.
