This noise about China hard landing is nothing new

Same tune has been playing on repeat since 2011 every year around this time

Its cause is simple

Govt tries to slow economy to stop it from overheating but they tend to stomp the brake peddle rather than slowly depress it

Economic activity contracts faster than expected but from very ELEVATED LEVELS

everyone runs around like a headless chook screaming China hard landing crash landing

Govt takes its foot of the brake and sometimes even press the accelerator and everything goes back to normal
