how bad is my day. I have a heap of this & truly never ever contemplated the lows of today. When it hit sub 5.50 I recd a text alert. By the time I got to the computer the price was $5. I thought AFG was going into melt down (like CNP). I was desperate to sell as I could see everything falling apart. I put a sell (part on my portfolio) in at $5. When I checked etrade - trade had not been placed & was not queued. So I did it again & then again. Still nothing happened. Rang Etrade & found out their system crashed. Now they have processed all my 3 trades - which literally wipes out my total holding & at the low price of the day. I only meant to sell part on my holding. Rang etrade & they have said 2 put in writing & no guarantees of anything. Its all a mess. Self inflicted but a mess.
