    I agree with you that WPP existing stake makes it more difficult, however another bidder can still achieve a majority interest if the remaining 75 percent of shareholders deliver a resounding no. Also WPP can not vote on the merger as a related party so it is easy for existing shareholders to reject the proposal and push WPP for a better deal
