Thanks Ausheads. Does that mean that exported REE are subject to 17% VAT + 15% export tax.
Second Q - does that mean that the illegal producers, are more likely to smuggle their product out of China an technically they cant sell in China without a VAT certificate.
If so the smugglers may be pocketing the VAT as their margin and they could still sell at up to 15% under the China FOB price. A secret business,for sure.
