Shimmer, I suspect the US will have pretty high real inflation, 20% plus seems reasonable, but I'd be surprised if it turned into Weimar Republic style hyper inflation.

I just can't envisage American banksters walking down Wall Street pushing wheel barrows full of paper dollars to pay for one of their lunches! lol

Also, I don't see any necessity for the rest of us to be seriously affected by the US disease. Let them suffer alone and get what they deserve.

We should be protected to a large degree from currency induced US inflation as currencies rise against the US dollar. In addition other nations may well abandon the devaluing US dollar for pricing and trade purposes.

The Chinese yuan will become very important in Asia, which includes us, imo as it supercedes the US dollar.
