The facts are it has happened before.

your confliction of statements are neither logical, clear, nor convincing
and you just totally miss the biggest point being constantly made
the RISK for Australia is that there is no spare accommodation - none
so, if we lose 5000 or 10000 homes - rendered uninhabitable (even if repairable) -
that means 10,000 to 20,000 homeless - instantly
and no trades persons to fix homes, no trades persons to rebuild homes
all of that - you just breeze by as if - it's not real
sorry to tell you this -------- it is real. And, it's a foreseeable risk.
