With all the bad publicity surrounding Ramu which well might continue with the Chinese in charge, if you got a good offer from them to get rid of you, and I'm talking $100mil+(15c/share) for our stake then it might well be a good tactic to take the money and run.
Every laterite nickel mine has had problems at the start-up stage,I could list them but I'm sure you already know them, so there are no guarantees that the Chinese will get it right either.
HIG tells us it is a wet laterite deposit whereas the problematic ones have been dry laterite ones but that should only be of some comfort as there's more to the problems than just that.
I personally see world oversupply problems with nickel in the next couple of years.
It was the previous Management that got HIG into Ramu and Frieda.
Ramu for us is small fry compared to Frieda.
