If you were an institution buying into this capital raising, why would you not sell on market from your existing holding and buy into the allotment -
There is no need to wait till the share allocation!
I would have been very happy to sell my entire holding of CBA and replace it with a $38 version. Pity I am not one of the 'mates rates' club.
