just some thoughts on the following. Metallurgy is becoming rapidly more sophisticated, eg TiVAN, the reason why the titanium adds value to TNG.
Here are a few links to very advanced technique of extracting titanium, scandium and other metals from coal and oil mining residue, of which there is a lot as we have been doing this for centuries.. not for vanadium yet, but I have included an abstract (summary of a scientific research project) of an article about the contents of vanadium in these residues. They are low but then again, this would probably depend on the geology of these mining residues. These links do not undermine the value of vanadium or VRB's, but does make you have another think about mining for metals in general and titanium specifically. I hold and keep holding TNG, just trying to be critical about ones investments. I do not hold shares in the companies mentioned.
