I've only read the above comments, but this is what l think at the moment...
can't say l feel sorry for anyone with credit card debt..... if can't afford to pay off at end of month why the heck have a credit card.... why have a credit card in the first place if haven't got the money to start with.
we are a small business and been burnt by people who all of a sudden go into receivership - we lost over $40,000. What about us? No way we're getting our money by the time the lawyers are done, been going on for years now.
I don't see the problem with small debts being chased up - because at the other end of the table are people like us hurting by loss of income because of the debt.
Hope this makes sense.
