News for Today (AEST)
The XJO moved a little higher on Wednesday.
The Index dipped lower during the day, then recovered the losses late afternoon, to close back near the day highs.
Spread increased, and volume was slightly lower (about average overall though), so supply did not increase as price pushed lower after the open.
After a bar like this, the expectation would be for an upbar in response today, especially with the recent background showing a positive nature.
And should price now fail (and head down towards the trading range lows), yesterdays bar would then be seen as a sign of weakness in itself.
