The wet weather shouldn't affect the coring too much as It has to continue to maintain the well integrity. It simply cannot stop as this is a 24hour operation for safety purposes.
The rain could slow things down as it gets a bit slippy on chequerplate and re-tooling etc.. could be hazardous.
But it shouldn't stop completely.
Thats my half-educated take. But DYOR research.
