Nockname,
From the data you posted it is more than just a question of why there is no notice in a change of directors holding if the Melrose shares were sold prior to his leaving.
IF the shares were sold prior to his leaving, the final director's interest notice of 26 million of Melrose shares announced to the ASX on 24 August 2006 would be wrong and there will be a question why the company announced something that is wrong and misleading.
If the shares were sold after 24 August 2006 which you opined is impossible, it still begs the question why there is no announcement on the change to ANZ Nominees holdings, this being the largest single shareholding on the CMQ register.
Is this the new corporate governance Mr Williams is pushing when he told the press that whether Primebrokers is selling the shares is a private matter between Melrose and Primebrokers?
Cheers.
