Yes you are right in saying that it has to be a bird, I have mentioned in the past the next bird should be a Magpie.
In relation to the golden horse, they can keep a statue of it, at the front gate's of the site / plant.
Or they can display it, at the start of the turn off, street / road or hwy, to get to the mine site.
That way any body travelling the down the road and see's the statue, they know where to turn, to D.E.G. multi million dollar site.
IMHO.
