A blow from a frozen-solid salami will kill someone just the same as a brick to the head. I don't see your point. If someone attempts armed robbery whether successful or not they are still allegedly an armed robber if and when charged by police and committed to trial for armed robbery. The stupidity or lack of intelligence of a perpetrator doesn't mitigate the offence or somehow lessen the likelihood of a repeat offence if bailed. If anything the perp', when out on bail, is more likely to source a more dangerous weapon and refine his/her technique from the earlier life lesson that he/she didn't get incarcerated for.
